On Sunday, July 30, 2023, Fr. Chris and Senior Warden Betsy Worthington announced four initiatives that the Vestry has voted upon.
The design and installation of the St. John’s playground will be completed as soon as possible in what is now the Staff Parking lot.
Plans for the purchase of the BB&T property on Rivermont Avenue will be initiated.
The current Mission House/Youth House will be sold upon completion of the new playground.
A Capital Campaign entitled “BANK ON OUR FUTURE” will be initiated in late summer to raise funds for the aforementioned projects. The campaign goal is $900,000.
