Join St. John’s this summer as we go to The Episcopal Youth Event! This once-in-a-lifetime event happens every three years, and this year it takes place in Baltimore, MD at The University of Maryland, College Park! A video overview and more information is below.

We will partner with the Diocese of Southwestern Virginia and travel to EYE July 3-8, 2023 . We depart on July 3 for a Province III gathering prior to the official start of EYE.

This is the first time this event has been held in six years after EYE20 was cancelled due to the pandemic. So, don't miss out on this international experience that serves as a special time for spiritual renewal and fellowship for young people across the entire church.

Ben that you intend to participate; once you've filled it out, you'll be invited to register with the diocese at the link below. Your spot will not be held until you complete your Diocesan registration! The registration deadline is Feb. 28, 2023. More information is included below and on the EYE23 website. Additional details will be sent out in early 2023. A $200 non-refundable deposit is due with registration. The total cost for the event is $400. See below for more details.

WHEN: Jul. 3-8, 2023

WHERE: The University of Maryland, College Park, MD

WHO: Current 9th-12th graders & adult sponsors. Youth participants must be at least 15 and no older than 19 by July 4, 2023.

COST: $400 (EYE registration fee). Pre-conference lodging, meals, and transportation are being covered by the Diocese. If you need scholarship assistance, please contact Fr. Ben.

TRANSPORTATION: The Diocese will cover transportation to and from the event. Additional details are forthcoming.
