Lenten Program 3/6/24

📖 Join us this Wednesday, March 6, for a conversation on our spirituality and the arts! We will have guest artists from our parish and our community sharing their work with us and exploring how art connects us to God.

The program will run from 6:00-7:00p, and dinner will be served at 6:00p, and a children's program will be offered. There is no registration required to attend!

This Wednesday we welcome artists Andrea Dukes and Gretchen Cline.

Andrea Dukes has been a member of St. John's Parish Choir for 22 years. Singing has been her lifelong hobby, as well as therapy, and a fundamental part of her worship experience. Andrea is the School Counseling Director at Brookville Middle School in Campbell County, and is married with two college age children.

For the past few years, Gretchen has been working in multi-cultural music settings as a musician and song leader. She has contributed on arts and music projects with The Amherst Glebe Arts Response, The Monacan Indian Nation, and the Concert for the Human Family. Gretchen currently serves as a musician and singer at St. Paul’s Bear Mountain in Amherst County, Virginia and looks forward to continuing various music and arts projects in the community throughout 2024. Gretchen holds an M.A. in Ethnomusicology and a B.F.A. in Theatre Arts.
