Bake & Pray Lenten Quiet Day

On April 5, we will offer a new Quiet Day and workshop experience called "Bake and Pray!”

Guest facilitator Maria Niechwiadowicz and Fr. Ben Cowgill will guide us in a day long retreat at St. John's from 9:00a-4:30p on Saturday April 5th. We also are offering a half-day version at Trinity Episcopal Church on March 15th from 9-12. Registration is available through Trinity's website for BOTH events and those links are below!

This workshop is for anyone, though there are only 20 spots at Trinity and 25 at St. John’s! Never baked before? Come on in! Sourdough superstar? This is for you too! This is open to the community and we appreciate your help in spreading the word! Here are the details about each workshop.

Trinity Episcopal Church will host on Saturday, 3/15, 9am-12pm (Facebook event here). Snacks and coffee will be provided during the retreat with lunch to follow; we'll send out an email with what to bring/what to wear details before the retreat!

St. John's will host on Saturday, 4/5, 9am to 4:30pm. Lunch, snacks, and coffee will be provided; we'll send out an email with what to bring/what to wear details before the retreat! Our day will include two hours of guided quiet reflection, as well as lots of time to have conversation, share fellowship, and ask questions of our facilitator. Our day concludes with a simple Holy Eucharist at 4:00p using the bread we will make together.

Contact Fr. Ben if you have any difficulty registering or questions about these events!
