General Convention at Home!

Episcopalians from around the world gather this week and next for the 81st General Convention of The Episcopal Church. This time, you can follow along from home! Fr. Ben will be posting occasionally from social media and writing about his experience, which we will share through all our channels. Several major events will be live streamed from this page, where you can also read press releases, see the schedule of events, watch the proceedings of both houses, and see other coverage.

Watch the Love, Always, revival celebrating the ministry of Presiding Bishop Michael Curry from Saturday, 6/22 here.

Worship Services will be live-streamed each day, as well as the Legislative sessions of both houses.

On Wednesday, June 26, St. John’s parishioners are invited to a special Holy Eucharist at 12:10p. Joined by clergy from around our convocation, Fr. Chris will lead our Wednesday service and pray especially for the election of our next Presiding Bishop, which will be happening approximately that time in Louisville.

Friday, June 28 will be the Closing Eucharist (8:30a-10:30a) and the last full day of General Convention.

Last, on July 16 at a special adult forum, Fr. Ben and Charlie Schindler will share their experience with the congregation at the Adult Forum hour on Sunday morning.
