October 30, 9:45a, Brunch to Follow
Each fifth Sunday of the month during the year, we combine our 8:00a and 10:30a services to emphasize the unity of our community. Our next combined 9:45a service will be Sunday, October 30. We will have a special guest, Bishop Keith Anderson, and a brunch to follow. Nursery and Children’s Chapel will be provided during the 9:45a Service.
Dr. Keith R. Anderson is a bi-vocational pastor. He serves as a bishop and overseer for the Highly Favoured Ministries Association of Churches (HFMAOC) and newly appointed State Overseer for Kingdom Destiny Fellowship International. Additionally, Keith has been an administrator in Higher Education at Liberty University (LU) since 2006. Currently, he serves as the executive director of the Student Health Center and Wellness Initiatives Office and previously as the Dean of Students for LU. His unique experiences in Student Development have made him a nationally sought leader for collegiate success and human development. His administrative expertise has been utilized by serving the Lynchburg community in serval ways: a two-term member of the Lynchburg City School Board and past-President of the Board of directors for Interfaith Outreach Association. Dr. Anderson is currently co-chair of the Faith Leaders Committee for the Poverty to Progress Taskforce and former Trustee for the Lynchburg City Schools Education Foundation and Miriam’s House of Lynchburg.
Dr. Anderson received his Biblical Studies degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary (Camilla, Georgia) and graduate education from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, where he obtained a Master of Arts of Religion, Master in Religious Education, and Doctor of Ministry degrees. Keith and his wife of over thirty years, Renee’, have partnered to form the Stacia Nicole Anderson Memorial Foundation to support students who need assistance in achieving their potential in honor of their deceased daughter alongside their son, Nicolas.
