St. John’s, Lynchburg is a family-oriented neighborhood church nestled in Lynchburg, Virginia with a history of outreach and mission, a thriving day-school, and deep dedication to Jesus Christ and our Episcopal faith. We are a church that holds dear our mission statement: “We Live by Faith, Share Christ’s Love, and are a Voice of Hope for All.”

Position Purpose The Director of Children, Youth and Family Ministries equips, empowers and educates young people and their families to live out their call to be disciples of Jesus Christ. We seek a director who will guide us as we engage our entire parish in lifting up and centering our family ministries in a manner that honors our roots and embraces creative vision for sustainable growth. They will plan, coordinate, and lead creative formation opportunities for children, youth, and families. The Director of Children, Youth, and Family Ministries is an integral member of the congregational life of St. John’s.
